When you unbox your N-Seam Saver, you’ll see the hook folded over the hanger base. That indicates the custom hangers are in the unlocked position.

Hero Tip: The unlocked position is the only time you can open the hanger base to attach it to your clothes.

Villain Alert: Forcing it open while locked will damage your custom hanger, so don’t let shrinkage win that battle!

Two quick moves to unleash your N-Seam Saver’s full power:

1. N-Seam Saver works best when the clothes are pulled right after the spin cycle, before the fabric dries.

2.Turn garments inside out before attaching to keep fabrics safe and evenly stretched.

Shrinkage may seem like a mighty foe, but patience is your secret weapon. For garments that are hard to stretch or have shrunk three or four inches, follow this process:

1. Stretch your garment until it’s taut.

2. Wait an hour or two and then stretch a little bit more.

3. Repeat until your garment regains its desired length or width.

4. Let it dry and celebrate your victory!

Whether pants or shirts, always fold your garment in half before attaching it to the Custom Hanger. This ensures an even, balanced stretch. Because every hero knows balance is key!

For loosely woven, delicate types of clothing, such as sweaters and cashmere, please place the felt strips over the low-profile hooks located on the Custom Hanger Base. They will protect your garment from being snagged.

Stretching a garment on the N-Seam Saver will naturally help reduce wrinkles. For “extra” de-wrinkling, you can use your favorite de-wrinkle release spray while the garment is being stretched on the N-Seam Saver.

Your N-Seam Saver can save sleeves, too! Just fold the shirt in half, then clip one custom hanger at the shoulder and the other at the sleeve end. Boom, longer sleeves, no sidekick required.
